Carer/Team-Leader

We are looking to appoint Carer/Team- Leader to join our fantastic team operating from our Barking office and covering surrounding areas. We are growing as a business and as a result now have a great opportunity for somebody who is passionate about care who wishes to progress with a genuinely caring company. Successful Applicant will also be flexible to work as a carer if there is a need in the area/ department.

Job Role

You will work closely with your carers and report to the Registered Manager to ensure that every service users receives the best care possible. You will be responsible for planning rotas, briefing carers before their care calls, conducting supervisions, and managing customer visits as needed as a care coordinator.

Responsibilities

Providing assistance in the daily running of the branch, with compliance to relevant CQC regulations via workforce roster creation and documentation. These rosters and any changes must be communicated clearly to service users and care staff; further reassignment of shifts may be necessary in the event of absences.

Must be willing to Accept changes to visits as requested by client, friends and relatives.

Must be willing to Support business development by providing all relevant information and leaflets to prospective new client and visiting them in their home to discuss their requirements.

Ensuring that effective induction, supervision and assessment of staff is carried out and that training needs are identified and met.

Must be willing to take an active part in on call and emergency care responsibilities as required

Effective in planning ahead for training days for care workers ensuring that there is adequate staff coverage so as not to cause interruption to daily operations.

Must be willing to take on multiple roles such as home visit, assessment of client and also providing care if need be.

Personal Specification

Must be experienced in providing care to a wide range of Service Users

Must be Experience in domiciliary homecare

Must have a Staff Rota experience is essential

Must be able to deal with stressful situation and be deadline driven

Must have a Drivers License and Transport is essential
