Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to provide compassionate care and assistance to individuals in need. The ideal candidate will possess a caring nature and the ability to support individuals with various needs, including dementia care and assisted living
Responsibilities
– Assist clients with daily activities such as meal preparation and personal care
– Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals under your care
– Manage challenging behaviours with patience and understanding
– Administer first aid when necessary
– Perform heavy lifting tasks as required
– Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients
Qualifications
– Previous experience in caregiving or support work is desirable
– Ability to drive is essential for this role
– Knowledge of dementia care, assisted living, and hospice care is advantageous
– Proficiency in behaviour management techniques
– First aid certification is preferred
